The early 20th century wasn't a nice place for black people;all people of colour actually, the -colonialism forcefully disenfranchised and impoverished millions all under the legal statutes of the day. Black Americans groaned under the weight of numerous state and federal white supremacist laws designed to keep them a permanent underclass.
Then the earth tilted-a shocking development occurred of all places in the Sea of Japan 1905. For one of the few times in history a white force was defeated by a non white force. The Russians and Japanese were expanding into Manchuria and Korea ,inevitably collided and fought a series of land battles :the Japanese won them all.
In a desperate move for face saving victory the Tsar gambled on victory at sea sending a fleet of 38 ships to meet the Japanese navy's 89 hulls. The opposing fleets met on 27 May 1905 just before 2 pm. Almost immediately the superior gunnery of Admiral Togo Heihachiro's boys told as they shot their way into history.
Commander Vladimir Semenoff, a Russian staff officer aboard the flagship Knyaz Suvorov, said "It seemed impossible even to count the number of projectiles striking us. Shells seemed to be pouring upon us incessantly one after another.[33] The steel plates and superstructure on the upper decks were torn to pieces, and the splinters caused many casualties. Iron ladders were crumpled up into rings, guns were literally hurled from their mountings. In addition to this, there was the unusually high temperature and liquid flame of the explosion, which seemed to spread over everything. I actually watched a steel plate catch fire from a burst." [29]Ninety minutes into the battle, the first warship to be sunk was the Russian battleship Oslyabya from Rozhestvensky's 2nd Battleship division. This was the first time a modern armoured warship had been sunk by gunfire alone.[34]
Russian battleship Osiyabsa, the first to be sunk
The Borodino took a direct hit in the magazine and blew up.
A fiercely burning Russian destroyer lists to port during the daylight portion of battle. Night came and still the Japanese pressed home their attacks with the Russians trying to escape to the north losing 2 battleships and 2 cruisers while the Japanese only lost 3 small torpedo boats.
As the sun of the morning of the 28th rose the scope of the disaster hit the surviving Russian admiral Nebogatyov and he ordered his last 6 ships to flee. Outgunned and outnumbered he ordered the surrender of his remaining forces. When the final audit of the battle was done the true scale of the Japanese victory was astounding: they lost 117 KIA and 3 torpedo boats with the Russians losing 4380 KIA,5917 POWs,6 battleships,14 smaller ships and 7 ships captured.
In our present selfie era of the warm touchy feely PC generation many truly have no idea the psychological boost the Tsushima battle gave to non whites globally. A system that relied on organised violence to perpetuate an inherently unjust system was defeated by the same violence. Samuel Huntington's famous quote was never truer than in this era: “The West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion […] but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact; non-Westerners never do.”
Non whites flocked to the cause of Japan.
A young Oxford lecturer interrupted his Greek history lesson saying:"the most historical event which has happened,or is likely to happen,in our lifetime has happened;the victory of a non white people over white people."
Lord Curzon,Viceroy of India, the Jewel in the Crown, the richest colony in Johnny Brit's 200 year colonial history solemnly declared:"the reverberations of that victory have gone like a thunderclap through then whispering galleries of the East."
The German Kaiser proclaimed it,"the most important battle since Trafalgar a century earlier."
A still young unknown Indian lawyer,Mohandas Gandhi commented,"so far and wide have the roots of Japanese victory spread that we cannot now visualise all the fruit it will now put forth." He later added:“When everyone in Japan, rich or poor, came to believe in self-respect, the country became free. She could give Russia a slap in the face.… In the same way, we must, too, need to feel the spirit of self-respect.”
The then teenage,Jawaharlal Nehru, future extremely cerebral first PM of independent India foresaw his future role,"Indian and Asiatic freedom from the thralldom of Europe." In fact Indian babies were named after Japanese admirals!
Its no surprise that in the immediate aftermath of Tsushima the first Egyptian mass protests took place against British occupation. A young Mao,before he became the narcissistic mass murderer of millions of his own countrymen learned a Japanese song commemorating the event and afterward remembered: “At that time, I knew and felt the beauty of Japan, and felt something of her pride and might in this song of her victory over Russia.”
Black Americans saw the battle as a portent and were euphoric coming as it did less than
a decade after the Italian disaster in Ethiopia at Adoa where they lost 6000 KIA to Ethiopian troops under Ras Menelik.
Ethiopia troops at Adwa 1896
Ras Menelik, who personally took to battle with his wife,Empress Taitu
2 of the lucky Italian captured. Empress Taitu wanted all the heads of the POWs! Mind you, there was no Geneva Convention or International Criminal Court in those days.
Though they were outnumbered almost 7:1 with just under 15k under arms to Menelik's 100k the defeat was crushing. All their 60 guns were lost,2 brigade commanders of 8 were KIA with one captured. However, this was Italy, whose martial exploits were and still are mentioned in the same breath as those of Micronesia or Suriname. Also, they along with most Mediterranean Italians aren't regarded as true whites due to the infusion of African blood over milennia,as these 3 random southern Italians will show.
They could be Mexican,Indians or even Arabs.
They weren't actually considered true white till relatively recently.
This is why in less PC times Italians, especially the darker ones like these were referred to as 'Guineas,' meaning the Guinea Coast of W Africa.
Booker T Washington said at his Tuskegee Institute, the black American teacher training college the Tsushima battle was much studied. Other leaders like Marcus Garvey and WEB du Bois identified with Japanese racially and saw the battle as a continuing anti racist struggle.
This was a period in which the death of destruction of subjugated blacks was celebrated in word and deed by the coloniser. The Portuguese,Dutch,Germans and Brits all wrote odes and poems praising their 'boys'
Hillaire Belloc captured the mentality perfectly writing:"We have the Maxim, they have not." It has been called "the weapon most associated with the British imperial conquest"
This machine gun left piles of shredded Pathans,Asantes,Kikuyus,Zulus,Dinkas dead uselessly clutching their assorted muzzle loaders, blunderbusses, spears, assegais and bows during Britain's colonial process. It was the first true machine gun using the recoil operation principle. Firing 600 rounds of .303 per minute with a crew of 4,2 loaders, firer and assistant the first prototype appeared in the mid 80s while operationally it debuted against the Ndebele in 1893.
This short video shows its simplicity and ease of operation.

Just after WW1 Japan proposed racial equality to be enshrined in the covenant of then League of Nations in 1919. What happened next was a typical chapter in the long running chronicle of deceit used to defend white racism that non whites saw as the pillar of Imperialism. Then US prez,Woodrow Wilson
succumbed to the orders of America's Real Rulers passed via his mysterious handler Col. House.
Wislon and House, the same advisor who played a major role establishing the Federal Reserve. This Texan,a Machiavellian insider was only an honorary Colonel.
To Hughes’ horror, a majority of the delegates approved inclusion. Edward M. House—Wilson’s advisor for the negotiations who had also initially supported the clause but had since backed away from it—slipped Wilson a note, which read, “The trouble is that if this Commission should pass it, it would surely raise the race issue throughout the world.”Wilson, who presided over the Commission, saw no reason for an issue such as race equality to squelch efforts to create the League. He told the Commission, “My own interest, let me say, is to quiet discussion that raises national differences and racial prejudices . . . I would wish them, particularly at this juncture in the history of the relations of nations with one another, to be forced as much as possible into the background. . . .” Still, the Japanese delegates insisted there be a vote. Wilson then made the last-minute, unprecedented decision that the vote had to be unanimous, and only positive votes would be registered. Without the support of the delegates from the United States, the British Empire, Portugal, Poland, and Romania, the Racial Equality Clause was defeated. And by registering only positive votes, the dissenting nations entered the record not as negatives, but simply as “not registered.”Whether he knew it or not, Wilson’s on-the-fly tactics also safeguarded him from charges of racial bias, with regard to the Paris Peace Conference, permanently—and especially right now.
Japanese efforts to tear down the defining global racial order wasn't forgotten. Colonialism conntiued into new regions opened up after WW1.
A few years in later post WW1 Britain's colonial efforts in the former Mesopotamia, now Iraq ran into stubborn Kurdish resistance. Arch colonialist, drunk, homo,Satanist, crypto Zionist, mass murderer and hardcore racist,WC,Winston Churchill himself said:
‘I do not understand this squeamishness about the use of gas. I am strongly in favour of using poison gas against uncivilised tribes … [to] spread a lively terror
Incidentally,Dear Reader this was where "Bomber Harris' of RAF Bomber Command, the destroyer of Dresden in WW2 got his start as a squadron commander saying:‘The Arab and Kurd now know what real bombing means, in casualties and damage: They know that within 45 minutes a full-sized village can be practically wiped out and a third of its inhabitants killed or injured.’

The BDS was one of the more important secret societies behind the scenes of Imperial Japan, akin to the Skull and Bones or Scroll and key in America with a major difference-it wasn't an elitist secret homocult. A nationalistic organisation formed in 1901 it counted military officers, cabinet ministers and intel agents amongst its membership. They actively supported Japan's territorial ambitions in Russia,Manchuria and Korea even organising Manchurian guerillas against Russian. Also known as the Koryukutai they were ardent pan Asians supporting Emilio Aguinaldo,Sun Yat Sen,fighting against Westernisation and global white supremacy and in the 1930s had agents throughout SEA,S America and even Ethiopia. Most importantly, many black American leaders fighting white supremacy were assisted through the BDS.
Manouevred into an unwinnable war by endless provocations, economic sanctions, an oil blockade even freezing all Japanese assets in the US 4 months before Pearl Harbour, the Japanese gave the struggle their all even though it was doomed by the reality of the cold logic of simple equation-which combatant can produce more steel?
At first things went well-swimmingly,actually as the soldiers of Nippon quickly captured nearly all SEA.
Isoroku Yamamoto, brilliant architect of Pearl Harbour, father of navy aviation and their early successes was prescient enough to know to beat America in conventional war he'd have to somehow confront their massive industrial production and technical resources. As a young ensign he was wounded at Tsushima when Japan made the world sit up and take notice..
"In the first six to twelve months of a war with the United States and Great Britain I will run wild and win victory upon victory. But then, if the war continues after that, I have no expectation of success."

In the wake of numerous earth shattering proof of what seemed like the end of white racist colonialism and its attendant superiority complex media organs reverted to type. Imperialist propagandists stuttered in open mouth disbelief looking form moral reinforcement and soon found it. Quickly, they sexualised the enemy in a move strangely akin to the criminalisation of the black man in popular media.
Flyers like this were hastily printed and distributed in Australia.
My personal favourite! In my opinion its a classic;the artist surrendered to his unconscious fears in this particular 'otherisation' artwork of the enemy. He darkened him considerably and is it my imagination or is that African type hair?
The Indian National Army, the Azad Hind Fauj was first raised in 1942 from Indians POWs captured in Malaya and Singapore. There was much mistrust between them and the IJA so it was disbanded and reformed the next year into a 40,00 man force under the charismatic Subhash Chandra Bose,a native Bengali, recruited from Indian POWs .

Both sides agreed the INA would help the IJA conquer Burma and then India. It wasn't to be!

Churchill took a typically fearsome revenge on innocent Indians, targeting Bengalis. Their wheat was exported to Egypt and Greece as 'WC' ignored pleas from Leopold Amery, secretary of State for India. The grain had already been harvested and was awaiting distribution to the Indian citizenry.
The horror photos of the starving soon appeared

All over SEA,thousands of ex Japanese servicemen for all 3 branches stayed behind almost, but not quite like Ronin, the masterlesss Samurai of the feudal era. After the surrender many ex IJA soldiers continued the anti colonial struggle
Indonesia,a typical colony that made billions for the white coloniser and grudgingly gave crumbs to the colonised brown and black was the scene of their first active anti colonial efforts. "In 1940 only 240 Indonesian students graduated from the high schools and only 37 from the colleges. In that year out of over 3,000 higher civil servants there were only 221 Indonesians, and even in the middle ranks a larger number of posts were held by Europeans and Eurasians, who counted as Dutch."
By 1945, Mrs. Lewis tells us, 93 per cent of the people were still illiterate. After 350 years of colonial domination, there were only a hundred Indonesian physicians; less than a hundred Indonesian engineers; and in a nation dependent upon the efficiency of its land productivity, only ten Indonesian agricultural experts.
Yes,Dear Reader, the predecessor to official Dutch control, the DUTCH EAST INDIA COMPANY HAD A MARKET CAPITALIZATION OF SEVEN TRILLION DOLLARS IN TODAYS MONEY!! People forget spices like indigo, pepper and cinammon were for a long time not only worth more than gold but typically provided a 400% profit. An extremely rare original VOC bond issued 1623 for 2300 florins.
The Vereenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie,VOC,the first true MNC,was the vehicle through which this 200 year wealth poured from their overseas holdings, the largest of which was Indonesia. It had authority to sign treaties, mint their own currency, raise and maintain own armies, wage war and even make own laws. They owned 40 warships,150 merchant ships,50,000 employees and a mercenary army of 20,000.
This 1.9 mn km 2 area with over 17,000 islands literally made Holland. Its fair to say its fascinating mix of over 250 ethnic groups and religious and racial blends:or rather their resources and labour made the VOC and its Dutch inheritors the prosperous country we know it today.

Lets hear what a Dutchman says about VOC SOP which at its height sailed a 100 ships annually between Amsterdam and Indonesia:
The VOC needed slaves to build forts and cities, work on plantations, offices and households. Slaves were no longer just sold locally, but across the archipelago and beyond,' he adds.Van Rossum estimates that between 660,000 and 1,135,000 slaves were shipped into and from VOC territories in Asia during the 17th and 18th centuries ' markedly more than between 495,000 and 850,000 in the West Indian colonies.
'There were internal trade routes in the Indonesian archipelago, particularly from the eastern and northern parts of the archipelago toward the more urban areas on Java and the surrounding islands.'From the Indonesian isles, slaves were transported to India, Sri Lanka and South Africa,' explains Van Rossum, a senior researcher at Amsterdam's International Institute for Social History.Slaves were obtained in various ways.'A great number of men, women and children were shipped off as prisoners of war and coerced into forced labor or sold,' Van Rossum writes. Drought and famine, he continues, also led to bonded labor and slavery, as did 'small and large kidnapping operations'.
Typical vignettes of colonial Indonesia
Such was the river of wealth that poured into the small Dutch nation it literally changed their sociocultural development.Simon Schama, wrote of this in his book,The Embarrassment of Riches. Stunning new aesthetics were created architecturally and in the visual arts;an era known as the Dutch Golden Age.
An estimated 5 million pieces of artwork were produced in the 16 th century known as the Golden Age of Dutch artwork. the final freedom from Spain mid 1600s and the simultaneous appearance of massive spice wealth from Indonesia were the wellspring of this cultural development.
Even casual observers have noted the explosive growth of artistic creativity.
A contemporary Brit observer noted:Evelyn wrote, "pictures are very common here [in the Netherlands], there being scarce an ordinary tradesman whose house is not decorated with them." The figures given to us by historical documents confirm the travelers' amazement. In the middle of the seventeenth century some Dutch homes had thirty to fifty paintings per room, rooms which, it should be noted, were not all that spacious.
One of the hallmarks of Dutch Golden Age artwork is the preponderance of food still lifes. Extremely detailed, akin to colour photos of a later epoch. Everyone, common people, middle class and the new burghers enjoyed a vastly improved standard of life showing in their diet. Bread, cheese, fruit and wines show up in many period paintings.
In the same period distinctive architecture was developed into the style known today as Dutch classical. High gables with emphatic horizontal lines at the same time.

Concurrently,a sense of financial thriftiness grew, perhaps an outgrowth of their Calvinism with its emphasis on hard work, self discipline and frugality. Even now Dutch are famous for stinginess-it was they who invented the phrase,"Going Dutch," referring to women sharing the bill when on dates.
Rachman Shigeru Ono,who lost his left arm in the war is one of among over a thousand who helped Indonesia fight the Dutch after the IJA surrender mainly on Sumatra,Java and Bali. It must be remembered the Japanese mobilised anti Dutch sentiment.

How many ex IJA died in the fighting can never be known but the toll of the heaviest battle may give us a rough estimate. After the surrender the senior Japanese commander on Surabaya Vice Admiral Shibata Yaichiro organised the transfer of his forces' arms to Independence militias along with Japanese volunteers. A series of provocations culminated in the killing of Brit commander Brig AWS Mallaby on the 31 October.
Bung Tomo, aka Sutomo, one of the Indonesian independence movement leaders, tellingly wearing ex IJA uniform. Head of the pro Japanese Gerakan Rekyat Baru,New Peoples Movement.
The battle of Surabaya,November 1945 was as heavy as any of the Pacific island battles. From the onset on 26th October til the end of hostilities 20th November,at least 10,000 combined Indonesian and Japanese fighters were KIA while British, Indians and Dutch lost at least 1000
In fact the only native support for the Dutch came from the Christianised Ambonese. After losing the recolonisation struggle the erstwhile coloniser evacuated many to Holland.
In Vietnam at least 5000 IJA servicemen stayed behind, mainly in the north to continue the war after surrender. The Viet Minh, despite their communist leanings eager accepted Japanese weapons and training.
In Thai Nguyen province, the Japanese apparently ran an arms factory. In Hanoi, a western-educated Japanese scholar named Kiyoshi Komatsu directed the Viet Minh's "International Committee for the Aid and Support of the Government of the DRV." In Quang Ngai, a Viet Minh officers' school had six Japanese officers on the faculty; in southern Trung Bo province, 36 out of 50 military instructors were Japanese. Major Ishii Takuo, a young officer of the 55th Division in Burma, deserted in Cambodia in December 1945 with several comrades and made his way to Vietnam, where he became a colonel in the Viet Minh, provisional head of the Quang Ngai military academy, and later "chief advisor" to Communist guerrillas in the south. Some specialists, including doctors and ordnance experts, were forced to work for the Viet Minh against their will. The French identified eleven Japanese nurses and two doctors working for the Viet Minh in northern Vietnam in 1951."One of the results of the Japanese presence in the Viet Minh army was an increase in French losses at the beginning of the war," Goscha writes. During the first battles in the north, Japanese soldiers served in the front lines. In Hue in 1947, the French reported battling a Japanese assault force of 150 men. Also in 1947, Colonel Ishii helped set up an ambush that killed upwards of 70 French soldiers.Koshiro Iwai led Vietnamese units into battle and led commando raids behind French lines; by 1949 he was a Viet Minh battalion deputy commander. Later he became a planner for the 174th Regiment, helping the Viet Minh to employ their newly acquired Chinese cannon.
After capturing Malaya in late 1941 the IJA took steps to correct the overwhelming Chinese trade and economic hegemony. Leaderships schools to prepare for the Greater East Asia CoProsperity Sphere were set up with a mandatory 70% native Malay intake. The Bumiputras, the Malays actively supported the Japanese while the Chinese assisted by Brits ran at least 2 different anti Japanese militias.
After the Japanese withdrawal these sociopolitical and economic issues led to warfare between the native Malays, the Bumiputra and the non native Chinese. For decades until the drafting of an openly pro Bumiputra affirmative action clause in the constitution in 1990 ethnic riots would occur between the two groups.
There was another unforeseen effect as Japan reached the end of its tragic journey foretold by Isoroku Yamamoto among the usually silent eternally loyal auxiliaries of the Empire.

The sociopolitical lessons learned by the African soldiery brought along the end of colonialism based upon the myth of white superiority. These victims of colonialism would never fight for their master again-this was the last war in which they would see the latter as Master.

Similarly its only logical that many Mau Mau leaders served with the Kenya Regiment in Burma a decade earlier.
Hitherto suppressed history of the postwar sociopolitical sea change among the colonised reeemerged recently from India. In early February 1946 the Indian ratings of the Royal Indian Navy mutinied, followed a week later by over a thousand airmen of the RIAF. Its instructive to note the mutineers were led by ex INA men, namely,Gen Shah Nawaz Khan,Col Prem Sehgal and Col Gurbaksh Singh Dillon.
By the way, they fought in the more dangerous theatres like Burma and consequently suffered a higher death rate than their white counterparts while earning between a third to a quarter of the latter's pay.
For far too long, official MSM has trotted out the standard disinfo that Gandhi,a malnourished conman,Ali Jinnah and Nehru brought about independence by peaceful means. No! It was the efforts of newly sociopolitically aware sepoys(Indians soldiers) whose newfound worldview influenced the civilian masses.
This was a different Britain from the one of an earlier century
In the first mutiny in 1856,now referred to as the First Indian war of Independence, the unsuccessful mutineers were literally blown from guns.

But now,90 years later, the Brits had lost their mojo as dramatically as a previously undefeated boxer being knocked out-the invincible mystique was gone:for good. All the fighters flaws were exposed to the world which saw undeserved confidence (read-arrogance) and gathered popcorn to watch and enjoy the comeuppance.
Like Roy Jones Jr,til now the only boxer to ever hold a perfect clean sheet in history in R4 against Vinnie Pazienza on June 24 1995;his reputation lasted nearly 2 decades based on real gifts of hand speed, footwork and power almost a decade, ruling, middleweight, light heavy and even heavy weight at different times. Til he met Antonio Tarver for a rematch and didn't lose on points but got KTFO May 15 2004!!
It was a beautifully timed right at 1.30
At his next fight in September against Glen Johnson the same year the same thing happened but it could have been worse. His head hit the canvas so forcefully he was out cold for at least 10 minutes. Trust me,Dear Reader, when they fall head first they don't get back up-the ref could've counted to 300!
After that he really should've decided to try new things:instead he showed the world what happens when a boxer loses his mojo. Since then he's lost to contenders, journeymen and municipal sanitation workers who ordinarily wouldn't be allowed to tape up and spar with a champ like RJJ. Floyd ,are you listening?
So when when the Imperialists,in the person of Field Marshal Sir Archibald Wavell,Viceroy and Governor-General India, threatened another Jalianwalla Bagh style massacre the Indian subjects remained firmly unintimidated.
This is an infograph of one of the more famous mass shootings in British India
Crowds forced Brits to shout 'Jai hind!' Victory to India in town and cities. Even the ever loyal Gurkhas refused to fire on rioters and mutineers. The CIC,of the British Army,India, Gen Sir Claude Auchinleck was perceptive to know the very earth had tilted. The former societal anchors, the very bedrock of the racism that reinforced the framework of Imperialism had been cast adrift by the War's global geopolitical shifts-accordingly he secretly cabled London strongly advising granting freedom.
What had happened was a process what Frantz Fanon would later refer to in 'Black Skin,White Masks,'as the collective catharsis of violence.
Thus the native discovers that his life, his breath, his beating heart are the same as those of the settler. He finds out that the settler’s skin is not of any more value than a native’s skin; and it must be said that this discovery shakes the world in a very necessary manner…for if, in fact, my life is worth as much as the settler’s, his glance no longer shrivels me up nor freezes me, and his voice no longer turns me into stone (1963: 45).
Many may argue with some validation about the late Martinican's marxist conceptualizations of race and class;some would find his 50 year old conclusions dated but the basic lessons of unconsciously internalised inferiority complex of the colonised and the the violence that frees this mindset are still true.
These were no longer the meek, peaceful perpetually self effacing 300 million subjects who were easily ruled by 20,000 white functionaries in the era of the Raj. The lessons learned in the crucibles of combat faithfully mirrored Fannon's writings in the sociopolitical sphere, not seminars or lecture halls. They'd seen the white sahib, bleed, flee, panic and die at the hand of non white Japanese-repeatedly.
A LOOK AT JAPAN'S COLONIAL EXPERIENCE,KOREA
Japan didn't actually colonise Korea in 1905 in the classical sense. Instead it was more of a protectorate. Formerly under China as an outright colony til the Japanese dismantled Chinese forces in battle and was given the Korean peninsula. When the massive progress Korea made under Japan is seen this difference become apparent. The latter built 6000 schools. In the 30s Koreans themselves demanded to be allowed to change their names to Japanese
In addition Japan built roads, railways, universities and dams, surveyed and adjudicated land,.
The first Sentetsu locomotives, supplied by Japan just before WW 1,operated by the Railway Bureau of the Governor-General.
The Japanese selfessly invested in railways and the rail network grew exponentially. Mantetsu management lasted just under a decade, and by the time Sentetsu regained its independence in 1925 the locomotive park stood at 247 engines. The 1930s, however, saw enormous growth in Sentetsu's fleet. From 302 locomotives in 1930, by the end of the decade the number had more than doubled to 740 engines in 1940, and reached 1,000 in 1944. When Sentetsu was abolished after the end of the Pacific War there were 1,302 locomotives on the roster.[2]
The entire peninsula was quickly covered by a Japanese built rail network.
Supung dam, finished in 1943 on the Yalu bordering China its 650 mw was larger than anything the Japanese had back home.
Industrial capacity, social spending all rose sharply under Japanese rule: One important project was to improve infrastructure: railway lines were extended, and roads and harbors and communication networks were improved, which rapidly integrated goods and factor markets both nationally and internationally. Another project was a vigorous health campaign: the colonial government improved public hygiene, introduced modern medicine, and built hospitals, significantly accelerating the mortality decline set in motion around 1890, apparently by the introduction of the smallpox vaccination. The mortality transition resulted in a population expanding 1.4% per year during the colonial period. The third project was to revamp education. As modern teaching institutions quickly replaced traditional schools teaching Chinese classics, primary school enrollment ration rose from 1 percent in 1910 to 47 percent in 1943. Finally, the cadastral survey (1910-18) modernized and legalized property rights to land, which boosted not only the efficiency in land use, but also tax revenue from landowners. These modernization efforts generated sizable public deficits, which the colonial government could finance partly by floating bonds in Japan and partly by unilateral transfers from the Japanese government. (emphasis added)
From 1911-40 the share of manufacturing in GDP increased from 6 percent to 28 percent, and the share of agriculture fell from 76 percent to 41 percent. Major causes of the structural change included diffusion of modern manufacturing technology, the world agricultural depression shifting the terms of trade in favor of manufacturing, and Japan's early recovery from the Great Depression generating an investment boom in the colony. Also Korea's cheap labor and natural resources and the introduction of controls on output and investment in Japan to mitigate the impact of the Depression helped attract direct investment in the colony. The institutional modernization, technological diffusion, and the inflow of Japanese capital put an end to the Malthusian degeneration and pushed Korea onto the path of modern economic growth. Both rents and wages stopped falling and started to rise from the early twentieth century. As the population explosion made labor increasingly abundant vis-a-vis land, rents increased more rapidly than wages, suggesting that income distribution became less equal during the colonial period. Per capita output rose faster than one percent per year from 1911-38Per capita grain consumption declined during the colonial period, providing grounds for traditional criticism of the Japanese colonialism exploiting Korea. However, per capita real consumption increased, due to rising non-grain and non-good consumption, and Koreans were also getting better education and living longer. In the late 1920s, life expectancy at birth was 37 years, an estimate several years longer than in China and almost ten years shorter than in Japan. Life expectancy increased to 43 years at the end of the colonial period. Male mean stature was slightly higher than 160 centimeters at the end of the 1920s, a number not significantly different from the Chinese or Japanese height, and appeared to become shorter during the latter half of the colonial period.

An elderly Filipinna tells the truth of the wartime occupation.
Such slanderous post war "recollections" of the IJA surfaced its necessary to debunk a few. Not all unfortunately are as clumsy and short lived as the Tanaka memorial a James Bond like manual for alleged megalomaniac world domination written by then PM Tanaka Giichi for Emperor Hirohito first published in a Chinese publication in late 1929.
In order to take over the world, you need to take over Asia;In order to take over Asia, you need to take over China; In order to take over China, you need to take over Manchuria and Mongolia. If we succeed in conquering China, the rest of the Asiatic countries and the South Sea countries will fear us and surrender to us.Then the world will realize that Eastern Asia is ours.
An English version later appeared which added America to the target list.
The more famous 'true atrocity' was the Rape of Nanking, wherein the IJA slaughtered 300k Chinese civilians with bayonets, bullets, strangulation, rape and decapitation. The most important detail is the fact that just before the Japanese went wild the population was 200k-a month after it increased to 250 k as many Chinese returned.

Prominent foreigners residing in Nanking said this:
December 14, 1937
Dear commander of the Japanese army in Nanking, We appreciate that the artillerymen of your army did not attack the Safety Zone. We hope to contact you to make a plan to protect the general Chinese citizens who are staying in the Safety Zone. We will be pleased to cooperate with you in any way to protect the general citizens in this city.--Chairman of the Nanking International Committee, John H. D. Rabe--"
In fact :
On the day when the Japanese troops entered Nanking, more than 100 press reporters and photographers entered together with them. The press corps were not only from Japan, but also from European and American press organizations, including Reuters and AP. However, none of the press corps reported the occurrence of a massacre of 300,000 people. Paramount News (American newsreels) made films reporting the Japanese occupation in Nanking, but did not report the occurrence of a massacre.
When walking back the lie the name Harold J Timperley, an Australian journo comes up. His telegrams were the first to speak of a a deliberate massacre. Significantly,he later worked for the Chinese commies 2 years later.
I realise many need,or want to 'believe' in certain narratives:I can't and won't argue. Here's contemporary reports on the so called 'Rape of Nanking.'
People repeat hysterical accusations against Dr. Shiro Ishii, the IJA's very own Dr Mengele and Unit 731,the medical unit of the Kwantung Army, just outside Harbin,China who conducted horrific experiments allegedly including:
-live vivisections on unaesthetised humans
-germ warfare tests on civilians using rats to spread plague
-artificially inducing hypothermia and hypothermia
the usual horror porn.
You'll never guess the source of Unit 731 atrocities stories. Kanda district, on the outskirts of Tokyo, is littered with second-hand bookshops, frequented by university students. In 1984, a student browsing through a box of old, discarded papers - belonging to a former military officer - first discovered the terrible secret of Unit 731. The documents revealed detailed medical reports on subjects suffering from tetanus - an agonising and usually fatal disease. Strangely, the reports detailed the inception of the disease, through to its excruciating conclusion. There was only one possible explanation, the student thought: involuntary human experimentation. World War two’s most enduring secret finally revealed itself by chance.
Yes,someone supposedly found a diary belonging to an ex 731 officer and a hoax almost as brazen as the Holohoax was born.
I swear these tales are written by the same who manufactured those 'true' Holohoax stories like Irene Zisblatt who continuously defecated the 4 diamonds her mama gave her throughout her 2 years in Auschwitz.
That's what she says!
Misha DeFonseca swears she escaped from Auschwitz and was raised by (GASSPPP!) wolves! It must be true.
Sometimes I wonder about the limited imagination of the Holohoax writers. According to the Chosenites,he was perpetually sewing Jewish kids together, greeting all inmates personally, just off the trains arriving at the camps and variously torturing them-one wonders did he ever sleep?!!
As for the monotonous bleating about 'Comfort women,' the truth is,yes there were such women from Japanese territories whose duties were definitely not ecclesiastical but the reality has been totally distorted by an ocean of lies. No IJA units abducted women to work as prostitutes. See what US forces said when they overran IJA positions in Burma and recovered comfort women.
The Army filed a Report Number 49 and noted the ladies were well paid prostitutes. Remember this was at the height of the war between the USA and Japan and the USA would have enjoyed using these ladies as propaganda publicizing they were forced into prostitution for the Japanese Army. The U.S. Army did not do it because according to their report, it would have been a lie. This then places a serious question into the whole issue of women being forced. Should not this aspect of the issue be explored, if not balanced, into the discussion?
The most devastating fact: During this period, over eight-hundred thousand Korean men volunteered to join the Japanese Imperial Army. 17,364 Koreans (figure from 1938 to 1943 excluding after 1944) were recruited as soldiers and 126,047 Koreans were recruited as civilian employee of the army. Why would so many men volunteered to join a military force responsible for enslaving so many of their women?
But the biggest hoax is the (non) story of how the IJA ate (yes,CANNIBALISED!) 20,000 INA troops on the Solomons after misusing them as slave labour . The Anglo Zionists love the cannibal trope! Many Japanese were fisherfolk and thus had fishing skills-indeed red meat consumption began after WW 2.
Also there was never a division and a half of INA boys on the Solomons. It was agreed with the IJA they'd fight mainly in Burma and help liberate neighbouring India. If there was cannibalism, which is possible, the Giant hominids,a Sasquatch like creature living on the Islands and also Vanuatu,Bougainville and Papua New Guinea are responsible- (a post on this fascinating matter is in the works.)
The one crime that will forever the IJA and all Japanese is the Bataan Death March. On April 9th 1942 after resisting for 4 months US and Philippino forces on Luzon and Corregidor surrendered. Already malnourished and out of medical supplies to treaty malaria the 75,000 men from all branches of the US military overwhelmed an already stretched IJA logistics system.
A lack of transport forced them to walk a 100 km to POW camps all over the Phils.' At least 10,000 men died during the days long trek. Thousands died later in the camps as Japan's worsening war situation consequently affected logistical resupply. Many guards were often brutal and murdered prisoners.
Since 1989 an annual commemorative March over the same route takes place.

The International Military Tribunal for the Far East was set up to whitewash post war Anglo Zionist imperialism and outright vindictiveness. Here they are Sir William Webb of Australia,Edward Stuart Mc Dougall of Canada, Mei Ju-Ao of China,Henri Banard of France,Radhabinod Pal,one of 3 Asians, Prof Bert Roling of Holland,Erima Harvey Northcroft of New Zealand,Col. Delfin Jaramilla of the Phils', Lord Patrick from Scotland,John P Higgins of the US,Maj Gen Myron C Cramer US Army Judge Advocate general who replaced the latter in 1946,and Maj Gen IM Zareyanov of Russia
The sole dissenting judgement was delivered by Radhabinod Pal, a Kolkata educated Bengali jurist. He called it a 'thirst for revenge.' Furthermore, he believed that the exclusion of Western colonialism and the use of the atom bomb by the United States from the list of crimes, and judges from the vanquished nations on the bench, signified the "failure of the Tribunal to provide anything other than the opportunity for the victors to retaliate."[6] In this he was not alone among Indian jurists of the time, one prominent Calcutta barrister writing that the Tribunal was little more than "a sword in a wig". Fear of American nuclear power was an international phenomenon following the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
As a colonial subject he was naturally sympathetic to Japan's historical context-surrounded by hostile racists seeking to limit their natural trajectory.
