For those of you with productive lives who may not know about this Armenian-American hottie,it was she who started the infamous leaked sex tape bullshit in 2007 with semi famous younger brother of Brandy,Ray J
No,we don't need to see the whole clip here. Anyway,she managed to make a successful career out of nothing only for being
-possessing no discernable human knowledge or skills
-surrounded with similarly useless humans
-publicising err,umm 'relationships' with the equivalent of the male population of a small town
-endless childish running internet feuds on social media with 'haters'
-always looking hot while attending such 'pursuits'
Which brings us to Alhuddah Njoroge aka Huddah Monroe,contestant of Big Brother Africa,that 90 day nightmare of voluntary idleness under 24/7 360 camera coverage. I'd thought that festival of inanity died a natural death but there's no accounting for the tastes of the young and the simple of whom there are not few.
Her self released net photos of course made her a natural for the BBA,as did her brains or unfortunately, rather lack of them. Addis Ababa is not a country! Hell no, Botswana wasn't colonised by America! Ohh well,several laughs were provided across this continent and frankly we're too busy to speculate how anyone can be so mentally blank in this age but we have strong suspicions and confirmed info but that doesn't concern us.
What does concern us is the mainstreaming of total worthlessness. That its fine to be burden the world with emptyheaded shallowness and near pathological self-absorption while being such an unbearable bore should be a crime. You need not have the singing ability of Jasmine Sullivan or the inborn engineering ability of the team leader on the Sukhoi 47 project but with your level of mental blankness you need to take several seats. Don't inflict yourself upon us ever again.
I'm not Dr.Phil and maybe I can't say what I'm trying to say which is the purpose of life is to be useful,so let me sign off with the Desiderata. Written in the 20s not in the 1600s as commonly assumed this collection of rules for living is mandatory for those who find contentment in productivity but need to avoid the occasional complications of unhappiness and unnecessary stress.
Huddah,for you and other wanna bes.
Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.You can be better than a low rent African version of Kim K. At least try.If you feel you cannot overcome mediocrity and mental laziness be my guest! You can be the next auto tune created,ignorant no talent 'superstar.' Social media can do that these days.
As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be critical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy.
